In the morning of 24th December 2008, the village started the day with Hours services and PreNativity Feast service at 8 :00AM in Mar Semaan church.
Children had a rendez-vous with Santa at noon when he toured the streets on a train leased for that purpose. Cheering, Christmas songs, and honks were the language of this ride. The train was dropping kids anywhere they wanted after a free ride.

In the afternoon santas were distributing gifts (registration in advance was mandatory) depending on the streets (Mar Semaan, Saha and upper quarter, Ain and Safa).

The Service Feast started at 8:00PM with Matins followed by Divine Liturgy.
